The Answer to Some Corona Virus Cancellations is Live Streaming

The social distancing requirement right now is affecting many things, and many businesses. While not everything can be solved by doing live streams, it can be a solution to keep operations from grinding to a halt. At the low end of the spectrum, owners with the workforce staying home, whether they are self-isolating or due to local restrictions, could leverage a basic live streaming setup to keep work flowing by at least an outbound stream to keep employees current.  Use Facebook or YouTube to allow chat, so there can be question/answer format, as well as open discussion. Using something like Zoom or Free Conference Call allows you to add 2 way communications, with options of many video chatting, or audio chatting, so you can hold meetings. Planned seminar cancelled?  You can still hold it virtually, and in this day and age, the people who planned to attend in person have the ability to attend virtually.  The setup for this is more complex requiring set up the multimedia and how to secure your intellectual property using pay per view options, but is a well known set up by streaming professionals. Schools closed?  I know many students are provided with ChromeBooks/tablets to do homework, so all the teachers need is a webcam and some basic video mixing software to be able to continue some degree of teaching while the schools are closed. For that matter, it doesn't have to be what you would think of as business, but performers (bands, singers, comedians, etc) can use this method to also work during the period stage venues are shut town and group gathering are not permitted. From the simple to the complex requirements, I suggest you find a local live streaming professional/company and see what they can do to get your "work flow" back to work.
